Muddy Boots is a chip timed event which is a well-established feature of the local running calendar selling 500 entries each year. The race covers an approximate distance of 10 kilometres which starts and finishes at St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School, Ripon. It is a multi-terrain course over undulating farmland and through picturesque countryside incorporating a mixture of road, footpaths and trails.
