About this race
The 26th Annual Big Island International Marathon runs will have both in person and virtual components. This race is run along the old coast of the Big Island. As you run you will see surfers, water falls, oceanfront and rain forests. This year we will be Starting and Finishing each run at the New Host Hotel, The Hilo Hawaiian. You can Book a Marathon discounted room rate using this LInk: https://www.castleresorts.com/big-island/hilo-hawaiian-hotel/Â Â
New maps will be up soon. The general course is the same we just moved the Start and Finish to the Hilo Hawaiian and out of BayFront Park. This way you can stay in your room until close to the start and still be in your hotel. Then when you finish you can go to your room, cleanup and come back down and join the festivities. While you run your race your family can use the Hotel facilities and still make it to your finish. This should make it crazy fun for you and your family or your Pit Crew. Parking is FREE.
All Virtual entrants T-Shirts and Medals will be mailed out by April 30th.
Packet pickup is from 9am to 5pm on March 18th 2023 at the Hilo Hawaiian. Carbo Load Dinner will be at 5:30pm across from the expo.
