HAPPY NEW YEAR!  RACE DAY REGISTRATION OPENS AT 9:15 AM @ $50. You will be able to us the Runsignup site to register once it opens back up. Let the team know when you arrive to pick up your BIB you just signed up this morning and need your BIB assigned. Thank you - Thomas

 

To start 2023, Peninsula Track Club presents the New Year's Day 2023 5K - Runner & Walker category available. The course is run through the scenic Newport News Park and is considered fast and nearly flat. Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcome. York High School Cross-country / Track & Field will be the event coordinator and volunteers. Proceeds will assist with YHS XC/TF equipment, uniforms, and expenses associated with their events. 

T-shirt for those who register before December 11, 2022.

January 1, 2023:

9:15 - 10:15  am BIB & shirt pick up at Newport News Park, picnic shelters 19 & 20, across the street from the Ranger's Station

10:30 RACE START: On Constitution Way in front of the Ranger's Station headed toward Jefferson Ave.

~11:30 am AWARDS:  -- Awards for the top three in each age group.

ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT NOON ON DECEMBER 31, 2022. 
RACE DAY REGISTRATION WILL OPEN AT 9:15 am, JANUARY 1, 2023. Race day resgirstgiaon is $50 cash or $45 if paid via Runsignup which will open back up at 9:15 am on race day. See Thomas Tate for race day sign up at BIB pick up. There will be a sign and a table for race day sign up, race day cost is $50 cash or check.

The event is put on by and benefits York High School Cross-country / Track & Field teams.
