About this race
 At the close of the Battle of Cowpens in 1781, two American officers—confident in victory—raced for the ultimate prize, a British three-pounder cannon, called the “Grasshopperâ€.
Bib numbers and shirts can be picked up morning of the race or Friday Jan 6th from 5-7pm at Gotta Run Spartanburg.Â
Race will start at 9am on Jan 7thÂ
This is an in person race at Cowpens Battlefield. 1 loop course on closed roads. Â
