17th Annual Run the Valley Half-Marathon

One of North Carolina’s Most Scenic 1/2 Marathon

The Run the Valley Half Marathon is back for the sixteenth year for you to tackle Morrow Mountain.     Deemed one of the most scenic half-marathons in the state of North Carolina, the course will take you from Badin to the top of Morrow Mountain and back to Badin.  More than half of the course is on the road in Morrow Mountain State Park.  Please note, there is a three-hour time limit for this race.

Limited to 125 participants.

Half-Marathon Start Time: 7:30 am

 

 

17th Annual Run the Valley 5K

 This out and back course offers rolling hills and beautiful rural scenery. The course begins at the Badin Post Office on the corner of Falls Road and Boyden Street. Runners follow Boyden Street to Valley Drive and run a bit past MillerTown Road where they will turn around and trace their steps to the finish. 

Runners and walkers are welcome.

5K Start Time: 8:00 am

Awards for both races are Top 10 Male and Female
