The BCS Thin Mint Sprint 5K & 1M Daisy Dash, along with its virtual counterpart, is an annual running event taking place on January 14, 2023, in College Station, TX. This event caters to various skill levels with both a 5K and a 1-mile children's "Daisy Dash." While specific historical details are not provided, the inclusion of a virtual option suggests a growing tradition and an effort to accommodate a wider participant base. Participants can anticipate a community-focused race experience in College Station. The terrain is likely to be paved, typical of a 5K race route in a city setting, offering a relatively flat and fast course. Participants should prepare for typical January weather in Texas, which can range from cool to mild. A notable feature of this event is its unique "Thin Mint" theme, which often translates into fun race elements, potential costume opportunities, and possibly Thin Mint cookies as a post-race treat, adding a playful and engaging dimension to the running experience for all ages.
