Winter XC Classic Victor Ashe 5K Race

Knoxville Endurance is proud to return this exciting grassy Cross Country race venue to the Knoxville area for its third year, with both an 8K & 5K race option.  Come and relive your high school career, compare performances against local athletes or race your first ever Cross Country race with this classic race on a full grass course!  Having hosted high school meets on the course all season, the course has been groomed and treated to provide a challenging yet refreshing change from the frequent road racing scene.  This event will be open to all individuals and teams of 4 who register together, sign up to Spike-up! 

**TEAMS**

Races will be run with teams and individuals together.  Teams will be scored based on the top 4 runners of a team competing in the following categories: Male, Female & Co-ed Teams. Lowest Team Score wins (3rd place= 3 points etc.)  There is no limit to the number of members a team may hold.  ***Team "Captains" must set an initial password during registration, all team members thereafter will be required to use this same password during their registration to join a respective team. There are currently no awards for teams- just bragging rights! 

AWARDS:

Awards will be given to top 3 male and female overall per event.  Age Group awards will be given to top individual per age group by 10-year increments (age 10-19, 40-49 etc).

UPDATE: due to low interest in 8K event, we will not be hosting this event.  5K will still take place as normally designated.
