Come join us for the 2nd Annual Myrtle Beach Hot Chocolate Classic presented by The Hangout Myrtle Beach! We have lots of fun and exciting things planned for the entire family and an opportunity to raise funds for your school! Participating local schools (with minimum of 40 participants) will receive $1.00 per participant and additional donation if they have the most participants.

The Myrtle Beach Hot Chocolate Classic 5K Run/Walk kicks off at 8:00am followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk at 8:30am. Overall Awards and Age Group awards will be presented for the 5K. School staff are encouraged to participate in the Marshmallow Challenge and School Mascots will square off in a foot race!

• Live DJ and Music
• Foam Dance Party (weather permitting)
• Post Race All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast (ticket purchase required through The Hangout) 
• School Staff Marshmallow Challenge
• School Mascot Foot Race
• Earn $1.00 per participant for your local participating school (minimum of 40 participants)
• The top 3 Horry/Georgetown schools will receive a donation from race proceeds! Donation based on number of participants.
• Raffle Prizes-all registrants are automatically entered (must be present to win)

• Hot Chocolate Bar-both races
• Post race snacks-both races
• Long Sleeve Custom Designed Shirt (sizes and availability guaranteed if registered by Jan 8)

• Registration closes Saturday, Jan 27 @7:00am
• 5K Run/Walk is a chip timed event beginning at 8:00am
• 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is an un-timed event beginning at 8:30am

• 5K Overall Awards are by gun time: 1,2,3 place M/F; 1 place M/F Masters; 1 place M/F Grand Masters
• 5K Age Group Awards are by net time: 1 place M/F  0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 up
• Raffle Prizes (must be present to win)

Race Bib Pickup:

• Friday, January 26 4:00-7:00pm at The Hangout
• Saturday, January 27 7:00-7:45am
