Time: 9:00 am - 11:00 am

 

Location:  Scotlandville Magnet High School. Parking available near the gym, outdoor track and additional parking spaces across from the school.

 

Schedule of Events:

7:30 AM Race Day registration begins at SMHS outdoor race track

8:30 AM Guest speakers & aerobics activity

9:00 AM 1 mile Fun Run/Walk

9:30 AM 5K Run/Walk begins, with awards ceremony immediately following the finish.

 

Entry Fee for the 5k: $35 per adult (18+), $10 per student (17 & under), $10 kids 10 & under; Team of 5 or more $30 ea.

All participants will receive a t-shirt and a bib race number. All ages and abilities are welcome. 

 

The goals of the Gumbo Run 5k is to promote Scotlandville's NAF Academies and to promote overall unity, health, and fitness in the North Baton Rouge community.

 

This year's race will be our signature fundraising event and it will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Scotlandville Magnet High School. Proceeds benefit SMHS NAF Academies. Come out and join us!
