Wear your craziest hat or sports inspired costume and kick off YMCA WinterFest while trekking through the frozen tundra and enjoying the beautiful wintry scenery at Parker Dam State Park!
This race is all about fun! Unique race awards will be given to the most unique hat, the most creative costume, overall male and female runners, the person who has traveled the furthest, the oldest participant and more! It's a fun way to kick start our WinterFest weekend. So bring the family. All ages and fitness levels are welcome.Â
The race is not competitively timed. We will have a running stopwatch but times may not be accurate. If you want an exact time, bring your watch. This race can be a bit snowy and icy but runnable. If concerned about the conditions bring yak traks. Â
