Ready … Set… Help Improve Cancer Patients’ Lives!

Recognizing the positive impact the ME STRONG 5K has made in uniting our community in the fight against cancer, and after extensive reflection and collaboration, we, the founders of ME STRONG, have unanimously agreed that all good things do NOT have to come to an end.

We are thrilled to announce the 2023 ME STRONG 5K “United in Strength” will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023, thanks to our 2023 presenting sponsor, Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS), in partnership with the Rotary Clubs of West Volusia County.

Year after year, Florida Cancer Specialists has shown their commitment to supporting the mission of ME STRONG by being the title sponsor of the ME STRONG 5K. FCS also has a 501(c)3 foundation whose mission mirrors the ME STRONG mission in that it is dedicated to easing the financial burden of local cancer patients undergoing treatment.

We couldn’t be more pleased to share that we are enthusiastically supporting the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation as the successor non-profit organization of the ME STRONG 5k. And, in the tradition of the ME STRONG 5K, 100% of sponsorship funds raised from the 5K will be designated for financial support to local individuals navigating life with a cancer diagnosis.
