5K Course: This USATF Certified course in Valdosta starts at the corner of Azalea Drive and College Street at the VECA School – 1605 Azalea Drive – Valdosta - 31602. Travels Azalea Drive to a left turn on Cranford Ave, right turn on White Oak Drive, right turn on Azalea Circle, left turn on Azalea Drive, right turn on Gornto Road, right turn on Georgia Ave, left on Clyde Ave, right on New Bern Street, right on Park, left on Delvid Street, right on Cranford, right on Georgia Ave, left on Cary Street and left on Azalea Drive, finishing at the VECA School. One loop course.

 

5K Individual Awards: Awards: Overall Female/Male, Master Female/Male – top 2 in each age group – 14 & Under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69 and 70 & Over.  

5K Couples Awards: Top Male/Female Couples by the fastest combined time for the Male/Female in Husband/Wife, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son, Male/Female categories. The team MUST BE DECLARED before the race starts - Couples can sign up online by entering the name of the their partner in the questions – both must name the other. There will be a special table to sign in after you pick up your bib number on event day. Each individual is limited to one team. 

 

BLAZIN’ BONUS - 50/50 raffle drawing and more: Assured no less than $50 in winnings. Each chance - $2.00. Drawing at the start of the awards ceremony – you do NOT have to be present to WIN!  
 
Drawstring Shoe Carry Bag to all registrants - will not be mailed, must be picked up race morning. 
 
Entry Fee for 5K event:

Race Day Entry Fee:                                          
$30 on Race Day – 02/11/2023

Blazer Pacer Entry Fee: $50.00 through February 7th. Drawstring Bag is included. First 3 men and 3 women to enter and want a VSU Blazer assigned to you to run every step with you – to help you run the very fastest possible. Sign up early before all slots are taken.

BURN FLAME Entry Fee: $30.00 through February 10th. These are individuals who would like to support the VSU Cross Country teams – but unable to make the event. Your Drawstring Bag will be mailed to you the week after the event.
