Mardi Gras 5K NOTC Family Registration

Celebrate Carnival season at the 6th Annual Mardi Gras 5K & Kids' Half Mile, produced by the New Orleans Track Club! Race day is Saturday, February 11, 2023 in Metairie, Louisiana. The race start and finish is at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Boulevard and North Causeway Boulevard in front of Lakeside Shopping Center.

Event Day Schedule: 

• 8:00 AM - Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup Opens
• 9:00 AM - Kids' Half Mile Run / Walk Begins
• 9:20 AM - Mardi Gras 5K Begins

The Mardi Gras 5K and Kids' Half Mile is a family friendly run / walk with the race finish coinciding with Jefferson Parish's annual FREE Family Gras festival and their headlining musical acts. Light refreshments and beer available for participants post-race. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase, and concert admission is free and open to the public. Following the Family Gras music festival lineup will be the Magical Krewe of Mad Hatter's parade along the traditional Veterans Memorial Boulevard route.

All online pre-registered participants signed up prior to February 6, 2023 are guaranteed to receive this year's commemorative participant shirt. All pre-registered finishers of the Mardi Gras 5K receive a finisher medal to celebrate their achievement.
