About this race
This race will get you outside to enjoy a combination of trails, roads and paved pathways. You can see the full course here: https://www.plotaroute.com/route/439944?units=km. This course is great for first-time runners or walkers but will also provide a challenge to more experienced runners. This race is perfect for running with your sweet heart, sole mate, BFF or to meet someone new! Kids and families are welcome. The fastest runners will be awarded and a fun awards ceremony will take place directly after the race in the Kentwood Library Community Room. Awards will be available for pick-up the week after the event at the Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department if you are unable or prefer not to stay for the awards ceremony. Everyone is encouraged to wear their best Valentine themed costumes but it's not required. Runners will receive a long sleeve shirt, participation medal and other goodies in their participant packets.
We will be using funds generated from this race to support our Little Free Pantry. This Pantry provides much needed food and hygiene products to those who need them the most in our community with no questions asked. Bring extra $ or a non-perishable item to donate and be entered to win a special door prize!
