The 2023 GORE-TEX Kahtoola Uphill

The GORE-TEX Kahtoola Uphill is a fun, family-friendly annual mountain race up and down the slopes of Arizona Snowbowl that celebrates human-powered movement. It's also the biggest fundraiser for Friends of Camp Colton, with 100% of the proceeds supporting youth environmental education in Northern Arizona. Join us for our 16th year, and get ready to tackle the slopes with your Kahtoola MICROspikes®, touring skis/splitboard, or traction device of your choice!

With events ranging from easy to challenging, sign up for the Fun Climb, Midway Climb or the Lumberyard Brewing Company Agassiz Climb, or hang out at the base and cheer on the racers. And don't forget to dress up and enter our costume/dance contest!

Kahtoola will generously loan out MICROspikes^® footwear traction at racer check-in on a first-come, first-serve basis. All proceeds from the race, Aspen Sports Race Raffle and Golden Ticket Raffle benefit Friends of Camp Colton. Challenge yourself to race for a good cause and ask your friends and family to support your efforts with a generous donation. There are awesome prizes for all the races and fantastic fundraising incentives!
