Hungry Dog Dash 2023 Hungry Dog Dash 5k Run/Walk

Whether you are a serious distance runner or a casual weekend warrior, come join us for the 11th annual Hungry Dog Dash 5K run/walk on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. The course will be fast, flat and beautiful as you run along one of San Diego’s most spectacular waterways in Liberty Station, Point Loma.

We look forward to once again hosting runners and walkers of all skill levels and ages at our USAT&F certified course and sanctioned event.

This race is very dog friendly! Feel free to bring your leashed, four-legged running buddy to enjoy the run with you.

All proceeds from The Hungry Dog Dash fundraiser go to the Point Loma High School Cross Country Team.  The event also helps raise awareness with younger students in the community about the PLHS running program. After a 2-year hiatus due to Covid, we hope you will join us for this community and family event promoting fitness and healthy lifestyles! Finish line activities will include live music, food, drinks and fun for everyone.

PACKET PICK UP INFORMATION  Race packets can be picked up at Dick's Sporting Goods (3265 Sports Arena Blvd, San Diego, CA 92110) on Saturday, February 10th from 9:00am-1:00pm or the morning of the race.  If picking up your packet on race day, please give yourself ample time.
