2023 Swamp Otter Trail 5K, 10K & Fun Run Swamp Otter Trail 10K

Join us for the 2023 Swamp Otter Trail 5K, 10K & Fun Run hosted by Alachua Conservation Trust, Friends of Little Orange Creek, and the City of Hawthorne, FL. Participants can select the 5K or 10k distances for a chip-timed trail course that winds through Little Orange Creek Nature Park & Preserve. An untimed 1-mile Fun Run will also take place after the 5K & 10K races. Please note, this race takes place on grass and dirt trails. Some surfaces may be uneven. Proceeds benefit future conservation, public recreation, and environmental education. Learn more here.

Race Details:

• 5K & 10K chip-timed trail run
• Free 1-mile untimed fun run for all ages
• All 5K & 10K participants receive a 2023 Swamp Otter Trail Race running buff (runner's buff not guaranteed after Monday, February 6th)
• Swamp Otter t-shirts will be available at the race for an extra cost of $20
• Top 3 overall male and top 3 overall female finishers receive a longleaf pine seedling to plant at home, $10 gift card for The Hyppo & a Swamp Otter t-shirt
• Online race registration closes on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 11:59 PM
• Day-of packet pickup starting at 7:30 AM
• Walk-on registration open from 7:30-8:45 AM on race day
• Early registration ends on January 31, 2023. Registration prices for the 5K and 10K will increase by $10 each on February 1, 2023.
