Join us for our 10th anniversary of the BAM Race Series in Oak Island North Carolina! BAM is short for #BigAssMedals and our 10th-anniversary finisher medals do not disappoint.

Oak Island is a beautiful coastal island large enough for a FULL MARATHON! We actually host 2 half marathons (East & West) that allow you to tour each end of the island. Highlights include: Lighthouse, 13+ miles of beach views along the ocean (running on the road), a bridge (on the West Half & Full Marathon) and much more! President’s Day weekend is a perfect long weekend to enjoy the beach. Average temperatures are 58 High /41 Low in February.

6:45AM - Full Marathon
6:45AM - East Half Marathon
7:00AM - West Half Marathon
7:30AM - 5K
8:30 - 1 Mile

Finisher Swag:

The unique 2022 medal design highlights the beach life! Massive 9" Surfboards for the full marathon, 8" surf boards for the East & West Half Marathons, 4" Flip Flop medals for the 5K and a cute surfboard medal for the 1 mile "Turtle Trot". You will also receive a participant T-shirt featuring the 2023 race designs at your packet pickup! You will certainly want to run the whole series to collect them all.
