About this race

Second Annual Fundraising fun run in honor of our son's heavenly birthday. Aiden Alexander was born sleeping at 39 weeks on February 15, 2022. He is forever loved and remembered in our hearts. He passed unexpectedly due to issues with his umbilical cord. We received the devastating news that there was no heartbeat when we got to the hospital in labor on Valentines Day that snowy night.Â

Proceeds from the event benefit stillbirth and infant loss organizations, such as Kain's comfort, in honor of our son. Kain's Comfort donates Comfort Boxes to bereaved mothers in the hospital so that they do not have to leave the hospital with empty arms.

The route is an out and back paved course on the Salado Creek Trail. The run starts at Lady Bird Johnson Park and runs south on the trail.
