Halifax Health Heart & Vascular 5K Run & Walk 5K Run and Walk Entry (Long Sleeve Dri-Fit Shirt included)

On Saturday, February 25th, 2023, Halifax Health will have its annual Heart & Vascular 5K Run & Walk. The race will be timed and offers an opportunity for both competitive and non-competitive runners, walkers, families and children to participate.

The course will start off in front of Halifax Health’s France Tower and loop around the medical center to provide a challenging .6 mile of running/walking up the tallest, six-story parking garage in Daytona - with an amazing view of Daytona at the top! We want to get your heart pumping before you enter on to Daytona State's Campus before ending the race back at the France Tower to enjoy a heart healthy breakfast at the finish line. 

Halifax Health is promoting this because Your Heart Matters. We want to encourage anyone and everyone to make that one step to a healthier heart. The reason? Because unfortunately, heart disease is the leading cause of death in BOTH women and men in the United States. In fact, it causes more deaths than all forms of cancers combined. 

Come out and support spreading awareness about heart disease while helping the Halifax Health keep funds local to help fight heart disease in our community.

All funds raised will go toward the Halifax Health Foundation fund that is used toward new advanced technology or education for the Cardiology Team Members who provide patient care.

• Minors must be accompanied by an adult

Packet Pickup: Packet Pickup will be available on Friday, February 24th, from 12:00 - 5:00 pm within the France Tower Mezzanine of Halifax Health Medical Center at 303 N. Clyde Morris Blvd or Saturday, February 25th, beginning at 7:00am at the start line in front of the France Tower at the Halifax Health Medical Center.

Awards: Awards will be given out by age group.
