The Early Learning Center and First United Methodist Church would like to invite you to support the Superhero Fun Run 5k, a 5K family event at Kermit Tipton Stadium on Science Hill High School’s campus in Johnson City on Sunday, February 26, 2023.

WHO: ELC Staff, Parents & Students and First United Methodist Church of Johnson City Parish and Community Members

WHAT: A 5k fun run to help raise funds for the ELC. These funds help to offset operating costs, purchase much needed materials/supplies, and provide updates to classrooms and playgrounds. 

WHEN: Sunday, February 26 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

WHERE: Steve Spurrier Field at Kermit Tipton Stadium - Science Hill High School 

ACTIVITIES: To kick off the event, there will be a 100 Yard Dash for ages 3-9. During the fun run around the track, fun games and activities for all ages will be available on the field. Strollers are welcome. Please note - this is a run just for fun. ;) No official time will be kept, and everyone who joins is a winner! 

COST: $25 for the 5k Fun Run and $15 for the 100 Yard Dash. Pre-registration ends 2/19/22 and includes a free t-shirt! Registration after 2/19 is $30 for the 5k Fun Run and $20 for the 100 Yard Dash. T-shirts are not guaranteed on race day.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:
Race day registration: 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm
100 Yard Dash Event for 9 & Under: 1:45 pm
Race Start: 2:00 pm
