Join us for the 23rd anniversary of This Race is for the Birds!

This year we are again offering in-person events and virtual 5K and 10K events.  All events require registration.  Register by February 28th to guarantee a t-shirt and lock in lower registration fees.

  • In-Person 5K Walk/Run and 10K Run:
    In-Person events will be held on April 1 at 9:00am at the Broomgrass Farm Community.  Enjoy the adventure of running or walking on non-technical cross-country trails that wind through fields and woods and along beautiful Back Creek.  The events will be held rain or shine.
  • Virtual 5K and 10K Run/Walk/Other:
    Virtual participants may choose between running, walking, biking, hiking or another way to complete the distances between March 25 and April 1.  Feel free to get creative!  Participants will then email their results or photos to [email protected] with the subject “My Results.”

As this is a fundraiser for PVAS, no refunds will be offered, and the funds will still go to supporting the important work we do to preserve, restore and enjoy our natural resources through education and action.  We are happy to send you a donation receipt upon request.  Please get in touch with us at [email protected] with any questions you may have.
