2023 Cougar Cup Girl's High School / Open 3200-meter run

Do you have a child you want to introduce to running? A middle schooler who is wanting to check out the sport or already loves the sport? What about a high schooler who wants to test their track times before the season starts? Are you an adult runner that would love the chance to run on a track against some local athletes to get your PR? Not to worry, The Cougar Cup has an event for everyone!

Elementary Division  

•   100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, and 400-meter dash
•   Kiddie Cougar Cup - runners will be entered into all three races and receive an overall score. There will be medals for the top three finishers in this event.

Middle School Division

•  200-meter dash, 400-meter dash, and 800-meter run
•  Cougar Cub Cup - runners will be entered into all three races and receive an overall score. There will be medals for the top three finishers in this event.

High School and Older Division

• 400-meter dash, 800-meter run, 1600-meter run, 3200-meter run, and 5k run
• Cougar Cup – If you register for the Cougar Cup you will need to select two events. You will receive an overall score for these two events. There will be medals for the top three finishers.
• Middle school can enter this event if they prefer to run longer distance.

 

RACING BEGINS AT 11:00am

ORDER OF EVENTS - Girls and boys may be combined. 

• 100m Elementary (girls/boys)
• 800m Middle (girls/boys)
• 800m High School / Open (girls/boys)
• 1600m High School / Open (girls/boys)
• 200m Elementary (girls/boys)
• 200m Middle (girls/boys)
• 3200m High School / Open (girls/boys)
• 400m Elementary (girls/boys)
• Epic Steele Mile (for Epic Soccer Team ONLY)
• 400m Middle (girls/boys)
• 400m High School / Open (girls/boys)
• 5k High School / Open (girls/boys)

Please bring plenty of water. 

There will not be an alternate date due to inclement weather.  Sorry no refunds.

Proceeds benefit the Jefferson High School Cross  Country team.
