The Medal Madness Saint Patrick 5K, 10K & Half Marathon at Gemini Springs Park, held on March 4, 2023, offered participants a chance to race in scenic DeBary, Florida. While specific historical data for this particular event is not detailed, the "Medal Madness" series generally implies a focus on awarding finisher medals, suggesting a celebratory atmosphere often associated with holiday-themed races. Participants could choose from three distances: a 5K, 10K, or the Half Marathon, catering to a range of running abilities. Runners at Gemini Springs Park could expect a generally flat and fast course, characteristic of many Florida-based races, primarily run on paved paths within the park. Given the March date, typical conditions would likely include mild to warm temperatures with moderate humidity, making it important for participants to stay hydrated. The park setting likely provided a pleasant backdrop with natural scenery. The designation "Event Type: 6" is not a standard classification and does not provide specific information about the race itself. However, the name "Medal Madness" strongly suggests that a distinctive medal awaited every finisher, serving as a primary draw for many participants.
