Your participation will help raise the roof on a co-housing community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Join us for the rare chance to run an official 5K at Rankin Lake Park!Special Needs Community Initiative is working to build a co-housing community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We envision a community that supports residents through life’s challenges and joys; that fosters independence as well as a connection with each other and the larger community; and an environment that is safe and sustainable.
Race is on flat course around Rankin Lake park and suitable for runners/walkers of all ages and abilities. The 5K is two loops around Rankin Lake and the Family Fun Walk is one loop.
