About this race
We are a Non-Profit (c)(3) organization. Â All proceeds from the race go towards scholarships for Tuscarawas County High school seniors, and to the Alpha-1 foundation.
We run in Memory of Robert “Bob†Smith.  He passed away from health issues on May 10th, 2019.  Bob was a huge inspiration to everyone he met.  He was very active in the local running community.  At the age of 77, he participated in countless races.  The man always had a smile on his face and words of encouragement to any and everyone.  He never met a stranger.  He simply made the world a better place.  In loving memory of him, we hold this event the first Sunday in March each year. Â
