Be sure to join us for our annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K on March 18th! The race will begin at the Marshall Area YMCA at 10:30 AM on the West Parking lot and conclude at Brau Brother's Brewery.  It's guaranteed to be a great time to Lap that Leprechaun!

DESCRIPTION

It's that time of year again to gear up for our Shamrock Shuffle! Thank you to all of you that have pre-registered for this event.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

There will be a shuttle bus and van that will escort participants only from Brau Brother’s Brewery to the YMCA prior to the start of the race. Each shuttle will have a 20 person capacity.. To sign up for the shuttle, participants MUST email the race director no later than March 17, 2023.

Packet Pick Up Information

Pick Up will be March 17th from 5:30 - 7:30pm at the Marshall Area YMCA
Race packets WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE BEFORE 5:30 pm.
You CAN have someone pick up your packet for you if you are unable to.
Day of Check In and Pick Up will occur from 9:30 - 10:15 AM on Saturday, March 18th (The morning of the race).
Other Important Information

The Marshall Area YMCA will be open during its normal hours. The Lobby and Gymnasium will be available to warm up and wait for the race. 
There are bathrooms and locker rooms available for use.
There are Sweatshirts for those who did not register before the March 1st deadline, but these will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Race is NOT chip timed as this is a fun run. There will be a race timer at end of race but no one will be keeping track of your individual times.
Food and Beverage will Be Served at Brau Brother's Brewery. All participants will receive 1 Free Beverage of their choice. At race finish the participant will receive a St. Patricks day drink token.
There will be a water available at the half way point in the race. 
The route will be guided by volunteers. Please do not make any turns until a volunteer guides you! 
Portions of the race will be salted and cleared if necessary. However, roads are not closed, so please be aware of your surroundings at all times! 
The Race will begin at 10:30 AM. Please line up for the race around 10:25 AM.
Walkers, strollers, and dogs on leashes are welcome. If you plan to walk the race, please be courteous of your fellow participants and line up near the back of the chute. This will allow those running for personal bests to get out of the chute quickly.
The finish will be at the entrance of Brau Brother's Brewery.

If you are looking for something to do post race join the SMSU Wrestling Team at Brau for a Corn Hole tournament with proceeds going to the SMSU wrestling program. Sign up for both and be entered into win a prize pack including drink tokens, appetizers, SMSU sweatshirt, 1 Free Month of YMCA membership and a 2 week tune up with a personal trianer at the Marshall Area YMCA!
