About this race
The Tyrone Race Series presents The Gold Rush Race!Â
The Gold Rush Race will be a 5k, 10k & Kids Sprint Event that will take place over Tyrone's Annual Tyrone Irish Heritage Celebration on March 18th, 2023! The Tyrone Race Series presents The Gold Rush Race! This event will be sponsored and supported by Tyrone and surrounding areas businesses and will benefit our local fire companies.
If your local to Tyrone then you know of the increasing amount of fires that have taken place over the past couple of years. This year we would love to give back to those who volunteer their time and risk their own lives to fight these fires. If it wasn't for these volunteers these recent tragic events would of been much worse.  This year proceeds will go to benefit Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Fire Co and Neptune's Fire Company. Â

Timeline of Events:
6:30 AM : Check in and day of registration will take place at Tyrone ArmoryÂ

8:00 AM: 5K & 10K starts
9:30 AM: Kids Sprint (50-100 Meter Dash)
10:00 AM: Awards and Closing Ceremony
Early Registration: Registrations may be mailed in or you may register on runsignup.com. Register by March 1st to be guaranteed long sleeve shirt.
Day of Race Registration: Race registration for the day of is only available from 6:30 AM to  7:30 AM

- Day of Registration: Free (No shirt)

COVID Measures: We continue to monitor all state health guidelines and will update our Facebook page with updates leading up to the day of the run. Â Post-race pre-packaged snacks wills be available to participants along with bottled water.

Cancellation Disclaimer: In the event of a cancellation of Gold Rush Race, all proceeds will be given to Tyrone's fire companies.
Inclement Weather: We will be monitoring the forecast and in the event of inclement weather the race will be postponed to a later date provided by the Gold Rush committee. Any updates will be  posted on the race website and on the Facebook event.
