Lily Butler was a senior at Providence Grove High School where she excelled academically and athletically. Â SheÂ
was a passionate and accomplished distance runner, inspiring her cross country and track teammates to exceedÂ
their own expectations. Â Lily embodied selflessness and humility. Â She believed a person's character was definedÂ
by how they treated others. Â Lily had a big heart and was a good listener. Â She will be remembered for her kindnessÂ
and loving spirit. Â
Lily lost her long-fought battle with an eating disorder on July 20, 2021. Â She was seventeen years old.
