Lily Butler was a senior at Providence Grove High School where she excelled academically and athletically.  She 

was a passionate and accomplished distance runner, inspiring her cross country and track teammates to exceed 

their own expectations.  Lily embodied selflessness and humility.  She believed a person's character was defined 

by how they treated others.  Lily had a big heart and was a good listener.  She will be remembered for her kindness 

and loving spirit.  

Lily lost her long-fought battle with an eating disorder on July 20, 2021.  She was seventeen years old.
