HOW YOUR REGISTRATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE
All proceeds from this race benefit Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas (CCP), a nonprofit focused on serving children battling cancer across North and South and Carolina. The race was previously known as The Cardinal Strut which benefitted Strut for Kids, a nonprofit serving Wilmington's families on the childhood cancer journey. CCP and Strut are merging to consolidate operations and serve childhood cancer families throughout the Carolinas more efficiently and effectively.  Â
Children Cancer Partners' help for children battling cancer is IMMEDIATE, COMPREHENSIVE and CONTINUOUS until each child reaches age 21. CCP helps families overcome distance and cost barriers so their child’s care is timely and complete. They are committed to supporting these kids and their families from the time of diagnosis, during treatment, and beyond.Â
Through your generous support, families facing childhood cancer can focus on what’s most important: their child’s health. Â
