The Be There! 5K provides participants a fun course throughout the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds. Celebrate opening weekend of the 2023 Youth Fair by running through the midway during this inaugural event.

• December 1, 2022 through January 7, 2023: $30
• January 8, 2023 through February 11, 2023: $35
• February 12, 2023 through March 17, 2023: $40
• March 18, 2023 (race day): $45

Course
The BE THERE 5K begins at the main entrance of The Youth Fair. Participants will run through Tamiami Park then enter the fairgrounds to run alongside the rides, concessions stands, exhibits and cross the finish line on Main Street inside the fairgrounds. Course map will be emailed out prior to the race.

Finishers will Receive

• Finishers Medal (click here to view spinning medal)
• Race Shirt (sizes selected are final)
• Race Bib
• One Admission to the 2023 Youth Fair (valid March 18 or March 19)

Awards
The overall top three males and top three females will be presented with awards. Top individual male and female in each age category will also receive an award.

Race Packets & Pickup
Participants can pick up their packets on March 17, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at GoRun located at 11650 N. Kendall Dr., Miami, FL 33176.

Schedule of Event

• 5:30 AM - Park opens for participants to arrive
• 6:00 AM - Packet Pickup opens
• 7:25 AM - Final race instructions
• 7:30 AM - Race Start 
• 8:30 AM - Awards presentation

Youth Fair Scholarship Program
Proceeds from the Youth Fair’s Be There! 5K will benefit the Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition’s scholarship program. The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching the community by promoting education and South Florida agriculture while showcasing and rewarding youth achievement. We accomplish this by producing a first-class fair with quality entertainment and providing facilities for year-round events.
