Join us as we kick off the 2023 Outrun Hunger Fore Kids Cafe 5K Sponsored by Nancy & Ken Larsen. All net proceeds from the 5K (3.1 miles) benefit Kids Cafe at America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia. The race will take place on the Deer Creek Course at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club on Skidaway Island.

Kids, strollers, dogs & walkers welcome at this race.   

Late Registration:  Online registration will close on Thursday, March 16th at 11pm. You will be able to register in person the day of the event, Sunday, March 19 from 7:00am - 8:30am.

• Day of Event Registration goes from 7:00am - 8:30am. 
• Race shirt sizes are not guaranteed for day of registrations

Race Map

Parking: 

All participants will park on-site at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club - Deer Creek Course. Parking will be available at the Deer Creek Clubhouse and in Lot 2 along Deer Creek Dr. and Grey Heron Retreat. Golf cart shuttles will be available to transport participants from their parking spot to race registration near the clubhouse.

SECURITY GATE ACCESS

• Once you cross over the second Diamond Causeway (Hwy 204) bridge and come down the hill you are now on Skidaway Island.
• Go through the first stoplight (Skidaway Island Park Rd) and then turn Left at the second stoplight (Lake St.). Follow Lake St. until you see a call-box in the left lane just before the security guard gate.
• Use the call-box to contact security and give them your name and let them know you are a 5K race participant and they will buzz you through.
• Lake St. turns into Shellwind Dr. after you go through the security gate. Follow Shellwind Dr. for 1.5 miles and then take a left onto Deer Creek Dr. and follow for 0.4 miles. You will then see volunteers directing you where to park.
