North Desoto Griffin 5k 5k

All proceeds from the race will go to purchase needed equipment and supplies for our school.

 

Date & Starting Time​:​ Thursday, March 23, 2023

½ mile fun run starts at 6:00pm,

5k starts at 6:30pm.

 

Course Description:​ RACE IS ON NORTH DESOTO CAMPUS ONLY.

Race starts on NDHS TRACK.

½ mile Fun Run is run solely on the NDHS Track, so parents are welcome to spectate from the stands.

Registration:​ STUDENTS 18 & Under = $15.

ALL OTHER PARTICIPANTS = Early Registration is $20 until midnight March 10.

$25 through midnight March 15.

Race day Registration is $30.

 

​REGISTER EARLY​! ​SWAG bags will be given to the first 100 registrants.​  No shirts guaranteed to late registrants. You must register by March 10th to guarantee a race shirt.

Packet Pick Up​:​ You may pick up your packet at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport, 

 

Wednesday, March 21 from 10 am – 6:00 pm.

Thursday, March 22nd from 10 am - 2:00 pm - at Sportspectrum

Thursday, March 23rd from 5:00 p.m. -6:15 p.m. at the race site.

 

 

Awards​:​ Overall Male & Female finishers will receive a $25 Gift Certificate and a medal. Additionally, overall age group top three finishers will receive a medal.

Age Groups​:​ 11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

 

Post Party​:​ Be sure to stay after the race for refreshments and awards!!

 

Special Note​:​ Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on the run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
