26th Annual Casey's Kids Fun Run/5K & KISD Family Health Expo Fun Run

Casey’s Kids course is now a certified 5K!

Keller ISD Council of PTAs is partnering with Keller ISD to host Casey’s Kids Fun Run/5K & KISD Family Health Expo 2023. The Fun Run, approximately .8 mile, will begin @ 8:00am with the 5K following at 8:30am. The KISD Family Health Expo booths will be open from 8:00 am to 11:00 am . Be sure to check them out along with the Carter BloodCare  Blood Mobile.  Stay around to enjoy live performances from the KISD Fine Arts department, inflatables, and food trucks!

Casey’s Kids was created in 1997 when Janie Casey, a former Keller ISD counselor, discovered that a student was missing school because of a lack of clothing. This student’s need led Ms. Casey on a mission to find a way to provide clothing to students in need.  Shortly thereafter, the Keller ISD Council of PTAs took on this endeavor and along with the PTA's mission to make every child's potential a reality, Casey's Kids continues to provide students with clothing, plus school supplies, grants and other essential items so our students don't have to miss school.  This year we are partnering with the Keller ISD  Family Health Expo to increase awareness of the Casey’s Kids program, healthy choices and wellbeing.

Funds raised from the event  support the many district-wide programs that benefit the students of KISD.

• Packet pick up is March 23-24th, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM at Bear Creek Running Co.

• Event day packet pick up opens @ 6:45 AM at Bear Creek Park,  400 Bear Creek Parkway.
• Must register by March 12 to receive your shirt at packet pick-up. A second order will be placed after the event for all registrations March 13-25.
• There will be limited parking at the park. Please plan to utilize our free shuttle from Bear Creek Intermediate School, 801 Bear Creek Pkwy.

*The school with the most registrations for Casey's Kids will have the honor of hosting the Casey's Cup in their school for the 2023-2024 school year. 

Fine Arts performances begin @ 9:00am.

5K Awards Ceremony will be held @ 10:00am.

Awards will be given to the Overall Winner & Masters (40+) Male & Female; 

and the top 3 in these age categories:

  10 & under     11-14     15-19     20-24     25-29     30-34     35-39     40-44     45-49     50-54     55-59     60-64     65-69     70+
