Raquette River Marathon, Half, 10k, and 5k Raquette River Marathon

The Raquette River Marathon and races run along the scenic Raquette River along River Rd, starting and finishing in Potsdam at the Potsdam Arena.  The course involves rolling hills and is certified by USATF and therefore a Boston Qualifier Certified USATF Map .  All races start together at 9:00.  Plenty of parking at Pine Street Arena.  See our website Raquette River Racing and Facebook page Raquette River on FB for additional information and updates.  We are working on coordinating hotel discounts locally...check back for details.

Additional details and map below.  There will be restrooms at the start finish and portable johns near both the half marathon turn-around and the marathon turn-around points.  A swag bag with registration materials will be handed out to all pre-registered athletes that will include their bib and pins, t-shirt, sports drink, granola, fruit, and more.  Water/sports drink stops will exist every 1.5 miles along the course and at the start finish.  The Map is part of the USATF certificate and can be found here: Map

Friday, the 24th, we are working on PASTA PARTY WITH EARLY CHECK-IN.  Details and price to TBD and we'll email in the days ahead.

RACE DAY-  Check-in inside the arena by the finish line, awards begin approximately 30 minutes after the last finisher of each race. and there will be a vendor expo including food and drink on site from 8:30-3:00.  The Spicy Olive Cafe will sell a variety of meals including Tex-Mex and more.

Awards for races are as follows:  Half Marathon and Marathon runners will receive medals at finish, and we will do 1st-3rd overall male and female podium awards after the top 3 finishers have come in for each of those races.  CASH AWARDS planned for the Marathon 2023!  These will be $150 for 1st, $100 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd for both men and women.
