RUN CANE BAY HALF MARATHON, 10k, 5k, And Relay March 25th 2023- FEATURING CUSTOM MADE FINISHER MEDALS!

Event Starts and ends at the YMCA with the National Anthem then gun start for the Half and 10k at 7:00 am, followed by 5k at 7:15 am. We are Walker Friendly on all distances, Must complete the 1/2 Marathon in 4 hours due to law enforcement and road closure restrictions

Please join us for our next Community event. We are hosting an in-person Half Marathon (13.1 miles), 10k (6.2 miles),  5k (3.1 Miles), and Relay (2-person or 4-person) starting at the Cane Bay Family YMCA and proceeding along the Cane Bay Plantation Trails and ending at the YMCA. This will be a supported course with on-course volunteers, aid stations, and traffic control. 

This is a fun flat and fast course, with the improvement in the community and the addition of the half marathon there will be a slight change to the course for 2022. The course is held on the Cane Bay Plantation multi-use trail system, which crosses several side streets and uses the tunnels to assist in road crossings. There is a 400ft section that is dirt and unpaved, runners must use caution! This area will be marked and supported.

The course will be marked, supported, and traffic controlled by Berkeley County Sherriff Department.

A Post-race celebration with Food Trucks, Vendors, and offerings from a local brewery is in the works. 

Half Marathoners Get the ingural Shirt, a Race Belt, and a Runner water bottle, 10k'ers get a Shirt and The Race Belt, 5k gets the shirt.

All participants get a finishers medal.

Packet pick-up will be held Thursday, 3/23 from 2pm - 6pm, and Friday, 3/24 from 12pm (noon) - 6pm at Fleet Feet Carnes Crossroads. There will be packet-pick up form 6am - 7am the morning of the race at the Cane Bay YMCA. Virtual packets will be mailed the week after the event. 

Race times: The Run Cane Bay Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relays, and 10k races will start at 7am. The 5k race will begin at 7:15am.

We will have on course hydration stations. Water and Nuun Lemon Lime hydration will be available.

CASH Awards and prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Male and Female Overall, Masters Overall, and Grand MASTERS Overall in the 5k, 10k, and half marathon distances. Relay Team awards will be given out for 1-3 for 2-person and 4-person.  Age groups prizes will be given in the following divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+, as well as Fastest Male and Female Cane Bay Resident. A special drawing will be for all Cane Bay resident finishers!
