Join us for the annual running of the Leif to Leif 5k!! We hope you are ready to get some exercise and explore Ballard with us. 

From the heart of Ballard to Shilshole Bay, the Sons of Norway Leif Erikson Lodge is proud to announce our annual 5k! The course runs from the Leif Erikson Lodge to the Leif Erikson statue at Shilshole Marina and back. 

5k Fun Run / Walk:

• Adult (18yr+) - $20 
• 13-17 yr - $10
• Child 12 and under - FREE

Check in begins at 8:00am. Race starts around 9am.  All runners receive a Norwegian flag at the finish line and free Nordic temporary tattoos will be available for those wishing to partake. Top three runners in each category will be awarded ribbons and top finishers in each category will receive prizes from our sponsors. 

Stick around after the run and enjoy some Nordic culture in the main hall! We will be treated to live music and other Nordic cultural demonstrations. We will be serving hot food, Scandinavian baked items (cookies, lefse, bløtkake, krumkake), coffee, soda and more.
