As Miss Cabarrus County’s Outstanding Teen 2023, I am committed to my community by raising awareness for my Social Media Impact Statement, Mavs Buddies, Bring Awareness to Down Syndrome. -Did you know Down Syndrome is the most chromosomal condition diagnosed in the US. It is also the least funded major genetic condition by our National Institutes? I have chosen to raise funds for our community that will help educate as well as provide programs for people with Down syndrome to spend time with their typical peers. I want others to feel the positivity, energy and love I feel with I’m with Maverick, the namesake of Mav’s buddies. -All profits generated from this event will be donated to the KennedyStrong Foundation.
