2023 Explorer Dash 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run 2023 Explorer Dash 5K (AJC Peachtree Qualifier)- Must register by March 1st to receive a race shirt

The Museum School PTO and Foundation are proud to present the Annual Explorer Dash 5K and 1-mile Fun Run event on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  This is a family-fun event that raises awareness about The Museum School and unites our community through the importance of incorporating healthy living and eating habits into our everyday life.  Proceeds from the event will benefit The Museum School PTO/Foundation and the continued progress of our school.

We have a NEW 5K Racecourse!!! The 5K is now an out and back course. This scenic course winds through Avondale Estates and passes by the Avondale Lake. The race has rolling hills, although far less hilly than our former race route. The 5K will begin at 8:30 A.M. next to the TMS gym on Forrest Blvd.  Race medals are being given to the top M/F overall 5K finishers and top finishers in every age category of 5K. The 5K is an Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event! The USATF Certificate # is GA22052WC. Race was measured from the right lane. Runners must stay in right lane on the course. The 1-mile Fun Run will start at 9:30 A.M. next to the TMS gym on Forrest Blvd. All Fun Run finishers (with Bib) will get a Fun Run medal! 

No dogs allowed on the racecourse.

T-shirts and swag bags are available for those registered by March 1st, 2023. There are no T-shirts for those who register after March 1st. The last day to register online for the 1 Mile and 5K is March 20, 2023. Race Day Registrants are not guaranteed a goody bag.
