13th Annual Get Pumped For Pets! 5K, 10K, and 15K Get Pumped For Pets! 10K

Welcome to the 13th Annual Get Pumped For Pets! 5K, 10K, and 15K race along the beautiful Cross-Island Trail on Kent Island. This 100% charity event raises money for shelter animals in need on Maryland's eastern shore. Get Pumped for Pets, Inc. (GPFP) is a 501 (c) (3) organization whose mission is to raise money and provide funding for homeless animals through local animal rescue organizations.  It is the “Make a Wish Foundation” for animal shelters on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Race day is Sunday, March 26th, 2023 at 9:00am starting this year in Terrapin Nature Park (191 Log Canoe Circle, Stevensville, MD 21666).  All three distances will begin at the same time with all three out-and-back routes on the Cross-Island Trail.  All three routes are USATF certified and the 15K is part of the 2023 Maryland Grand Prix Series, hosted by the Road Runners Club of America. This event supports a great cause and is very popular, with several hundred participants.  All race participants will receive a shirt, finisher's medal, and raffle ticket.  First place age group and overall winners will receive awards.  Additional awards will be raffled off to lucky participants.
