Welcome to the 13th Annual Get Pumped For Pets! 5K, 10K, and 15K race along the beautiful Cross-Island Trail on Kent Island. This 100% charity event raises money for shelter animals in need on Maryland's eastern shore. Get Pumped for Pets, Inc. (GPFP) is a 501 (c) (3) organization whose mission is to raise money and provide funding for homeless animals through local animal rescue organizations.  It is the “Make a Wish Foundation” for animal shelters on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Race day is Sunday, March 26th, 2023 at 9:00am starting this year in Terrapin Nature Park (191 Log Canoe Circle, Stevensville, MD 21666).  All three distances will begin at the same time with all three out-and-back routes on the Cross-Island Trail.  All three routes are USATF certified and the 15K is part of the 2023 Maryland Grand Prix Series, hosted by the Road Runners Club of America.
