Welcome to theÂ J.L. Long Middle School 25th Annual Long Run 5K

The 25th Annual Long Run 5K starts and finishes at JL Long Middle School 6116 Reiger Ave, Dallas, TX 75214

The Long Run is a fundraiser supporting Dallas ISDâ€™s JL Long Middle School. This
year marks our 25th run! The campus PTA organizes the annual event and proceeds are used to bridge critical
funding gaps in the JL Long Middle School budget, including:

-Sensory items and games for the Special Education Department
-Funding needed to support Peace Pantry (food/clothing provided to needy students/families)
-Equipment for Zoo Crew
-Funding for staff support and curriculum training
-Equipment and materials for science labs and the Athletics Department
-Supplemental books and educational materials
-Entry fees and transportation for Longâ€™s Math and Science Team, athletic and music competitions
-Transportation for student field trips to promote college-bound culture
