Have you ever experienced the runner’s high that comes with conquering a 5K? There’s nothing quite like it. Whether it’s your first ever 5K, or your first in a long time, Fleet Feet has a beginner-friendly training program that will get you to the finish line of our most exciting 5K of the year: The Big Run!

We offer plans based on your current level of activity and experience from run/walk, intermediate and advanced walkers and runners. Plus, your coach and fellow training group members will provide the guidance and motivation you need to stay on track and have fun along the way. At Fleet Feet we are passionate about being an all inclusive place for runners and walkers of all paces to feel comfortable and welcome!

The Big Run 5K Training Program presented by Brooks culminates with the Big Run 5K on Global Running Day in June. More than a race, The Big Run is a celebration of running and the community it pulls together. It will take place on Thursday, June 7, 2023 at 6pm at Stinson Park. This will be a FREE 5K that is open to the public. There will be a clock at the race to see where you finish. However, this will not be an official chip-timed race.

Info Session Date:

We will be hosting an informational night at Fleet Feet Lincoln on Thursday, April 13 from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. During this time you will have the opportunity to meet who you will be running with for the eight weeks leading up to The Big Run. The coaches and mentors will be available to answer any questions you may have and our Outfitters will be available to help you find the items you need to get started. We will also give you an opportunity to get fit for shoes and apparel to make sure you are ready for 8-weeks of training! 

1/2 Way Party:

We will hold a 1/2 Way Party at 4-weeks left! We will be reflecting on the group's progress, celebrate accomplishments, and will be awarding prizes in some fun categories! 

Post Race Party:

You made it! This is a huge accomplishment! We will be hosting a post run after party! Details will be posted at a later date.
