Pirates on the Run 5K Pirates on the Run 5K

Amelia Island Runners presents the Pirates on the Run 5K to be held April 1, 2023 at 7:30 AM at the Atlantic Recreation Center at 2500 Atlantic Avenue in Fernandina Beach, FL.

Dri Fit T shirts and custom race medals for all participants. Fast, flat course in beautiful Fernandina Beach. 

Event Schedule:

Packet pickup is Thursday, March 30 and Friday, March 31 at Mythic Running Company located at 815 S 8th St in Fernandina Beach. Special packet pickup after store closing until 7 PM on Thursday evening.

Final Race registration and packet pickup 6:30 AM on race day

5K @ 7:30 AM

Awards Ceremony @ 8:45 AM

Unique awards will be presented to the following categories:  

• Top three men and women overall
• First master’s male and female overall
• Top three in each of the following male and female age groups: 10 & under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80+

Race Timing:

The race will be timed using the bib chip

Registration cost:

• $30 until Feb. 28 
• $35 March 1 - March 15  
• $40 March 16 - March 24
• $50 March 25 - Race Day

Proceeds benefit charitable outreach of Amelia Island Runners including Fernandina Beach High School Athletics.
