What to expect

Written from race data

The Broad River Bunny Hop Trail Run, a 10-mile race held in Shelby, NC on April 1st, 2023, offers a unique and challenging trail running experience. While specific historical details are not provided in the prompt, its inclusion as a recurring "event type 6" suggests a well-established and anticipated race within the local running community. Participants can anticipate a demanding yet rewarding course designed to test their trail running mettle. Expect a course characterized by its natural, rugged terrain. This typically includes a mix of singletrack trails, rolling hills, and potentially some technical sections with roots and rocks, all set against the scenic backdrop of the Broad River region. The springtime date means participants may encounter variable weather conditions, from cool mornings to warmer afternoons, and the trails could be damp or muddy depending on recent rainfall.
