Run, walk, skip, or ride in a stroller, THIS is the most Foolish fun you will have ALL year at a race event!! 

At the Fools run, the only thing we take seriously is HOW MUCH FUN you are going to have! And this year will be even more Foolish because it LANDS ON APRIL FOOLS DAY!!! So, you just never know what we might have planned for you, but I do promise, you will hear APRIL FOOLS a few times ;)

This WILL be an IN PERSON event!!

The run will be held April 1st, 2023, at Maxine Barritt Park, with a start time of 8am!This will be a chip timed road race along Harbor Drive, starting in front of  Sharkey's, and finishing at the pavilion. Your finishing time will be texted or emailed to you based on what you have set up through RunSignUp, so make sure you put the right info, like yours, not your ex's cousin's info, they don't care how fast you are. But do run fast, because you know that those Fools over at Gulf Breeze Apparel are sure to come up with some sort of baller awards, so be ready to run as fast as your little legs will go! And of course, ALL finishers WILL receive a Foolish finisher's medal! Because who wants to run a race and not get a medal?! We're totally going to feed you and give you some drinks as well, Chick-fil-A Pelican Plaza will be filling those grumbly tummies, yummmmm. Can't make it out to run with us in person, but you still want the awesome race swag?! Join our Virtual event and we'll mail you the swag approximately 2 weeks after the live event.

Packet pick- Friday 3/31- 3pm-7pm at Gulf Breeze Apparel, 606 Cypress Ave, Venice.

Packets will also be available for pickup on race morning 7:00am - 7:45am under the pavilion.  

The MFRE Fools want to help as many fellow Fools as possible with this event! So, they are splitting up the proceeds from this event and benefitting both, The Active Suncoast Foundation and creating a scholarship for The Spero Clinic.  As some of you know, Race Director Amber Jacob was recently diagnosed with a chronic disease, CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), the scholarship to The Spero Clinic will help fellow CRPS patients with their treatment.  Not only are you running for FUN, but you are also running to MAKE A DIFFERENCE!! <3
