Island Montessori Tinted Turtle Trot Kids' Dash

Island Montessori School will hold the eighth annual Tinted Turtle Trot 5k and 1 Mile Run on Sunday, April 2nd at Mike Chappell Park in Carolina Beach. This year’s event features a Kids’ Dash for younger participants as well as 5K and 1-mile races.

The run has a colorful twist: runners and walkers will experience color explosions before and during the race! Our event is unique to this area!

Registration for the 5K event is currently $30, with discounts provided to school, athletic, corporate, and community teams. Registration fees increase after March 4th. Participants can register at www.TintedTurtletrot.com before March 11th to be guaranteed a shirt. 

Packet pick-up location will be at Good Hops Brewing, 811 Harper Ave, Carolina Beach, Friday, March 31st, 5-7 p.m. Participants can also pick up the morning of the race starting at 8am at Mike Chappell Park. Registration closes at 930am on Race Day.

An awards ceremony will be held at our After Race Party at Good Hops in Carolina Beach after the 5K. Awards ceremonies will begin no later than 1130am for all races.

Proceeds of the race will benefit Island Montessori School – the only free and public Montessori education offered in New Hanover County.

March 5th-April 1st - $35

Race Day - $40

 

1mile - $20 until March 4th

March 5th-Race Day - $25

 Shirt size guaranteed if registered before March 4th
