The Azalea Run Fun Run

ABOUT THE AZALEA RUN: Hosted by the Muskogee Running Club, the City of Muskogee, and Saint Francis Health Systems, the Annual Azalea Run returns to Honor Heights Park on April 8th.  

This run dates back to the mid-1980s, and has had many names, most recent of which has been the Muskogee Run.  This year there is no 15k event and the run will stay inside Honor Heights Park, so it is fitting to revert back to it's longest held name, "Azalea Run".   

This will be one of many events of the 2023 Azalea Festival, which will go on the entire month of April. We will be using a course fimiliar to many local runners, the Garden of Lights Run Course, but it will have a much different feel for a spring run.  Please read below for more event details and we hope to see you on April 8th!  

 

T-SHIRTS & AWARDS: Included in your registration fee is a Azalea Run t-shirt, refreshments afterwards, and a chance to win a Azalea Run medal that will be awarded to the top 3 in each age groups. Age Groups will be - 8 and under, 9-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and Over.

 

5k COURSE: The Garden of Lights Run course will keep runners inside the park and will offer many beautiful views of the parks flowers and gardens. CLICK HERE FOR COURSE MAP

Until March 5th - EARLY BIRD PRICES!!!! - $17.50 FUN RUN, $25 5k

MARCH 6th to APRIL 3rd - LOWER REGISTRATION PRICES!!!! - $20 FUN RUN, $27.50 5k,

MARCH 31st - LAST DAY TO REGISTER WITH SHIRT GUARANTEE

APRIL 4th TO RACE DAY - FULL PRICE REGISTRATION FEES - $22.50 FUN RUN, $30 5k

PACKET PICKUP:

FRIDAY, APRIL 8th - 3 PM TO 7 PM - PACKET PICKUP, HONOR HEIGHTS PARK NORTH SHELTER BY SPLASH PAD

 

RACE DAY SCHEDULE (April 9th):

6:30 AM - EVENT DAY REGISTRATION OPENS HONOR HEIGHTS PARK (North shelter by Splash Pad)

8:00 AM - 5K RACE, & 1 MILE FUN RUN/WALK START

9:00 AM - 5K AWARDS
