Summer Grove 5K & 10K Mission Race 5K

This is the 11th year for our Mission Race, which has reached over $103,000.00 dollars for God's mission field.  All proceeds of this event are used to fund summer mission trips by the youth and adults of Summer Grove Baptist Church.

Both the 5K and 10K will start at 8:00 a.m. from the Bell Tower area.
 
The race starts at the Bell Tower, goes around the church, through an adjoining residential neighborhood and back to the starting point.

Children's Race will be at 7:30 a.m. April 15th.  Children running in this event need to be on site no later than 7:25 a.m.

5K / 10K race Pre-Race announcements and opening ceremony will start at 7:40 a.m.

Event is open to RUNNERS and WALKERS.  Dogs and baby strollers are welcome.  Dogs must be on a leash at all times.  No bikes will be allowed.

All Children, 5K and 10K runners and walkers will receive a FINISHER medal. 
After the races, there will also be a medal presentation for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd finishers in the male and female categories in age groups 10 -100.

 

Bounce Houses will be on sight for children.

Food will be provided for everyone during the post race celebration.
